Research Focus: International Business Cycle Interdependence
My research investigates how economic fluctuations transmit across national borders. I examine the key transmission mechanisms: international trade and investment flows, monetary policy including exchange rates, and industrial structures related to technology diffusion. Additionally, I analyze the distinctive features and challenges of the Japanese economy through international comparative analysis.
