Research Focus: Analyzing Politics Through Historical Lens
Political history uses historical events as a lens for political analysis. While the pre-war Showa period is often viewed darkly through the lens of Japan's eventual defeat, many argue that the framework of modern Japan was actually shaped during this era's wartime reforms. I believe that analyzing historical events from multiple perspectives leads to a deeper understanding of contemporary society.
