Research Focus: Civic Participation in Democratic Theory
While liberal democracy is widely accepted as the legitimate form of government today, challenges such as declining voter turnout and the rise of populism threaten its foundations. My research explores political theories that address these challenges to liberal democracy, with a particular focus on civic engagement and participation.
